Timberwood Village Homeowners Association

APRIL 2011

The Homeowners Association Board meeting was held on April 3. We approved a new contract for the mowing of the common areas this year. We are using Andy Kitts, the same contractor used in previous years. If you are interested in having Andy mow your lawn please contact him at (304) 229- 4524.

We are having a neighborhood clean up day to pick up trash in the common areas on May 1. If you wish to participate we are all meeting at the bus shelter at 2:00 pm.

The community yard sale is set for May 20 & 21, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. we are placing a sign at the entrance of the subdivision and placing an ad in the newspaper. There will be pizza party at the cul-de-sac on Longwood Dr Saturday at 5:00 pm, please bring your own chairs and drinks, no alcohol.

Now that it’s spring it’s time to remind everyone about sharing the roads. If you are having a party and need additional parking you are welcome to use the two gravel areas for short term parking. The first one is on the left after 175 Longwood Dr the other is on the right by the metal gate after 216 Longwood Dr.

Residents please slow down and remind your guest to slow down. The speed limit is 15 MPH. Parents please remind your children to use caution when walking or riding on the roads. And to walk on the side of the road after they get off the school bus.

The Board passed a motion to set up a monthly payment plan for any resident who is a year or more behind in their HOA dues. The plan requires each resident to sign a customized agreement with the HOA agreeing to the following terms. The amount of each monthly payment will be based on the total amount each resident owes. The lean that has been placed on the residents home will remain until the full amount was been paid. No monthly penalties or interest will be assessed to the resident during this agreement. If the resident fails to make the monthly payment the HOA will return to charging fees and interest to the resident. Please contact our Treasurer, Wes Bicknell, at wes@bicknell.com if you are interested in this plan.

I need to caution all residents and their children about some open manholes around the old sewer treatment plant. They are full of water and I doubt an adult could remove themselves from them if they fell in. I informed several about them today so please stay away from them until the issue is resolved.

The next meeting of the Homeowners Association is on August 7 @ 4:00 pm at the home of Bobby Pevarnik home at 285 Longwood Dr.

Sincerely,

Bobby Pevarnik President of the HOA
